In January of 2000, Bryan and Laura Hedges completed their acquisition of REALTY EXECUTIVES - Hedges Real Estate Inc. in Lawrence and Hedges Real Estate in Baldwin from Chuck Hedges. Chuck Hedges has been in the real estate business for over 40 years and has owned and operated Hedges Real Estate since 1972. He joined with REALTY EXECUTIVES in 1995 to become a part of an International Real Estate Company with thousands of agents Worldwide. Bryan and Laura Hedges now own the Realty Executives franchise rights for Lawrence, Baldwin, Eudora, and Ottawa Kansas.

REALTY EXECUTIVES - Hedges Real Estate is very proud of the many accomplishments of Chuck Hedges over his many years in this business and we are very thankful for his dedication and service to this agency.
Bryan is now the President and Managing Broker of the agency. Bryan continues many of the positive traditions of REALTY EXECUTIVES - Hedges Real Estate while continuously enhancing the services to agents, customers and clients and continuing to cooperate with other agencies through the Multiple Listing Services.
Bryan Hedges has a degree in Business Administration & Advertising and graduated in the top 10% of his class from The University of Kansas Business School and the top 10% of his class at Lawrence High School. Bryan has The Certified Real Estate Broker (CRB) Designation, The Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation, and the Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI) Designation. Bryan has been in the real estate business his entire life and has been in this business full-time since college. Bryan has listed and sold over $20 Million in Real Estate in the past and is now concentrating on helping Hedges REALTY EXECUTIVES agents increase their sales volume and profitability. Bryan loves to study success and what makes people happy and successful. He applies what he learns to the way this agency runs and to how he helps agents. Bryan is always willing and glad to help agents on everything from the basics of real estate to the details of complex real estate transactions. Bryan plans to spend the next 30 or so years building this company and helping agents be more successful!
Laura Penny Hedges is Vice President of Realty Executives - Hedges Real Estate Inc. Laura is a graduate of The University of Kansas and has her Law Degree (JD) from The University of Kansas. Laura is an active agent and is also involved in the operations of the agency. Laura loves the real estate business and enjoys helping others.
REALTY EXECUTIVES - Hedges Real Estate has excellent staff members who help keep the office running smoothly, answers incoming phone calls, coordinates referrals, coordinates advertising, sets up showings on listings, coordinates documents, helps coordinate transactions, and much more.
